Take advantage of every moment...

The torrential downpour in the morning was a great sight...from indoors!
It rained so hard that you couldn't see beyond the trees to the water!

It created some space to get out our guitars and practise...which was lots of fun but futile, for the most part.

The rain cleared up just in time for high-tide and Day 2 of surfing was pretty awesome with big waves, smaller boards that we rented and a few moments of pure satisfaction.
Yup...a few 'moments' and that's about it (at least for me). Eric caught almost every wave and was up! Today is another day though...and I'm ready.
Lastnight we wandered down the beach to this place that had live music. It was awesome! Right on the beach. Christmas lights up everywhere. Good music. And this fire-twirler provided a great show!
On our way home, a racoon was running behind us and scared us as it passed by, seemingly on a mission like no tomorrow for someone's garbage bin!
Today we're scoping out our Sunday game for the Rider's hopeful win in the Grey Cup!!
Love you, Mom.
Thanks for teaching us to take advantage of every moment.
love Crystal
