I'm sorry I've been a bit off-line!
Here's what living intentionally has been about the past few days...
Sharing our gifts and talents on "Talent Night"!
Your 10th shined so brightly, we could hardly see!
Your 1st did as well, sharing her whistling talents and gift of thoughtfulness.
Carol shared her trick with the silver ring and chain.
I sang a song and some other Diva's did skits! OMG...were they funny!
Two days ago, we also went to see a group of indiginous women and their coffee plantation. It was incredible! The women started their organization when they realized that the coffee trees were being cut down (along with the mojate trees- this is a nut that grows in the area....but the trees were all being cut down and this was problematic b/c the mojate trees/nut is a very healthy nut for the body...with properties that are higher than any other food item)...
Anyway, the women got together and deciced to work together, with a common vision to create their future...they built a big warehouse, bought land, are taking care of their coffee and mojate plantation and inviting groups to come and learn about what they are doing. Now, the people don't have to move to follow work b/c they have created it for themselves here. They also are making good money and living life on their own terms. It's amazing! The women make the decisions...very cool!
